Safe routes to schools give our kids the opportunity to walk or bike safely to and from school. We need safe routes for seniors, people with disabilities, and low income residents without their own transportation.
Part of creating safe routes in Solano County is decreasing traffic accidents. Most traffic deaths are preventable. Residents, businesses, other stakeholders, and government can work together to ensure safety as the highest priority for all of our roads.
Let’s make sure that regardless of age or income, anyone can become an active and involved in our community.
