Theme: ART IS POWER

The goal of the event is to recognize youth artists, showcasing their talent through performances and displays. There are four components of the Student Art Showcase: the performing arts, static art, art exhibit (formerly called the Solano Student Art Faire) and community booths.

Eligibility: Any elementary through college-age student living in or attending school in Solano County. Open to all students and community youth groups.

  • Community Resource booths at the Student Art Showcase are free to community and youth programs/agencies. Booth space will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Exhibitors are encouraged to present their booth as family-friendly and should include opportunities to engage attendees through activities, education, and/or direct services. https://forms.gle/9teiPam5VsmfwDnY6

The free showcase will feature a stage for live performances, an art exhibit with art from Solano County schools, and informational / Activity booths hosted by local community organizations and student groups featuring information and services, ranging from, but not limited to: mental health, general wellbeing, drug and alcohol prevention and intervention, and violence prevention. Food trucks will be onsite for refreshments, and every participating student artist will receive a free lunch voucher for a food truck!

The Solano Student Art Showcase is part of a collaborative group of organizations hosted by the Solano County Office of Education to highlight youth resilience by supporting all types of youth artists and to promote mental health and wellness, as well as alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) prevention through art.
